Nursing Home Visits

Miniature Therapy Horse
A peaceful and interactive visit where residents can pet, talk to, and spend quiet time with our miniature horses. These visits are especially meaningful for residents with a lifelong love of animals or farming. Our horses can visit in a large room, walk the halls, and make bedside visits to those who cannot leave their rooms.

Lambs of Love Nursery
One of our most touching programs. Residents can gently hold and cuddle multiple young lambs wrapped in blankets. This visit is especially popular with memory care residents and often encourages singing, storytelling, and emotional connection. Booking now for this spring. This visit will be limited to April - June.  (4-6 lambs waiting to see how many are delivered) This visit starts the 3rd week of April.

* Babydoll Sheep (Storm and Cloud) These cuties will melt your heart as you watch them walk down the hallways and stop to say hello. These two will be available for visits after Lambs of Love finishes up in June. (Available July).

Two Alpacas (Outdoor visit only)
A unique sensory experience featuring soft fiber animals that residents enjoy touching and learning about in a relaxed outdoor setting. Residents will be able to "hug" our alpacas around their long necks while posing for a picture. This would be a great time to host a "Happy Hour of Hugs." Bring the drinks outside, enjoy the sun, and be amazed by these incredibly soft and docile creatures.

Toby the Highland Cow (Outdoor visit only)

This program is TBD we will know in the spring if Toby will continue making visits.
Featuring Toby, our micro Highland cow. This visit often brings back memories of farm life and creates a joyful, social atmosphere. Encourage residents to meet outside on a beautiful day. Soak in the sun.
