Our hospital visits are designed to bring moments of calm, connection, and relief directly to patients, families, and staff. We offer gentle bedside visits for patients, as well as meaningful interactions with hospital staff as we pass through units and hallways. These moments often become a welcome pause in an otherwise stressful day.

Spending time with horses has been shown to promote relaxation and support the natural reduction of stress hormones, helping individuals feel calmer and more grounded. During our visits, we consistently witness this effect firsthand. Nurses have shared that patients who are typically anxious, withdrawn, or difficult often show noticeable mood changes after time with our horses. Spouses and family members frequently report that focusing on the horse—even briefly—provides a sense of relief and allows them to step away from the weight of medical concerns, if only for a moment.

Our visits typically last between 1 hour and 1.5 hours, allowing ample time for meaningful interactions without overwhelming patients or staff. Our horses are carefully selected and highly experienced in hospital environments. They are comfortable with the sounds of busy hallways, overhead announcements, rolling carts, and alarms, and they confidently navigate around medical equipment with calm, steady manners.

The feedback we receive from patients, families, and healthcare professionals continues to affirm the positive impact of these visits—bringing comfort, connection, and moments of peace into the hospital setting when they are needed most.
